"Brescia Under the Bombs": a journey to the past in the Volta, Stazione and Vittoria subway stations
Brescia Subway's Volta, Stazione and Vittoria subway stations will host a special installation that previews the exhibition "Brescia Under the Bombs (1940-1945)", which recounts the bombings experienced by the city of Brescia during the Second World War.
The three stations selected represent three symbolic places in the city that were bombed by the British and Americans. Thanks to the installation, all passengers can travel back in time to discover how these same places looked during the war through maps, photographs and stickers with QR codes.
The initiative anticipates the exhibition "Brescia Under the Bombs (1940-1945)" promoted by Centro Studi Rsi Salò, the Province of Brescia, Laba, Sei al Martinengo and Fondazione Provincia di Brescia Eventi that will be held at Palazzo Martinengo from 13 October to 11 November 2018.
